Human Monoclonal Antibody Capable Of Binding To Human Cytomegalovirus, And Antigen-binding Domain Of The Antibody

Abstract

[PROBLEMS] To provide: a human monoclonal antibody having excellent affinity to a human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) which can induce various morbid conditions in an immunodeficient state and the like and also having an excellent ability of neutralizing the HCMV; and an antigen-binding domain of the human monoclonal antibody. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Disclosed is a human monoclonal antibody which can bind to a human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) to neutralize the biological activity of the HCMV. The antibody is an anti-human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) monoclonal antibody comprising a light chain (L-chain) having an amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:1 and a heavy chain (H-chain) having an amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2.
