A Lactobacillus paraplantarum KNUC25 strain is provided to show antibacterial activities on various coliform groups generated during aging of kimchi as well as pathogenic coliform group, thereby being used as a natural antibacterial agent, a food additive and a medicine. A culture solution of a novel kimchi lactic acid bacteria of Lactobacillus paraplantarum KNUC25 strain has the antibacterial activity on coliform bacteria, wherein the strain is deposited as a deposition no. KCTC 10958BP. A food additive or a medicinal composition comprises the culture solution of the Lactobacillus paraplantarum KNUC25 strain as an effective ingredient.
