PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning-fork vibration type load sensor for providing measurement values excelling in linearity and repeatability while having durability improved.
SOLUTION: When a load receiving part 20 receives a load to be measured, the load operates on a tuning-fork oscillator 17 via a tension piece 19 and a lever part 13 while a tensile load reduced based on a lever ratio acts on the tuning-fork oscillator 17. When suitably choosing the gain of an amplifier and the frequency characteristics thereof, vibrating reeds 23a and 23b symmetrically vibrate based on a characteristic frequency corresponding to a load acting on the tuning-fork oscillator 17. When the vibration is input into the amplifier, a load value is obtained through a frequency counter. Then, curved parts 22 of the tension piece 19 are elongated and deformed as shown by a chain line where the deformation of the lever part 13 and that of the tension piece 19 are scaled up to sizes of the order of hundred times as large as they are and diagrammatically shown. However, the position of a power point 15 of the lever part 13 hardly changes, so that a stable output is acquired from the tuning-fork oscillator 17, allowing high-accuracy measurement.
