Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel Lactobacillus plantarum K46 (KACC91758P) strain, and to a composition using the same. More specifically, provided are various antimicrobial compositions using antimicrobial activities of the Lactobacillus plantarum K46. Particularly, provided is a microorganism additive for manufacturing silages. The plant silages manufactured by using the strain of the present invention have excellent antimicrobial effects, and are capable of improving the digestibility of livestock, improving palatability due to taste improvement, and increasing the quality of the livestock.
