Disclosed are active substances of bacterial origin, which induce synthesis of antimicrobial proteins/peptides in eukaryotes, especially epithelial cells, without simultaneously triggering inflammatory reactions. The invention also relates to the cultivation conditions for bacteria, which result in the formation of said active substances. Further disclosed is a method for isolating said inductors of antimicrobial substances, separating the same from inductors of proinflammatory proteins, and purifying the same.
