Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having sufficient soft bone and/or hard bone osteogenetic ability so as to effectively perform inducing soft bone and/or hard bone osteogensis, wound healing, tissue restoration and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The proteins exhibiting charactors of BMP-5, BMP-6 or BMP-7 are provided, a method for producing the proteins is provided and a medicinal composition containing the proteins and for inducing hard bone and/or soft bone ostogenesis, wound healing, tissue restoration and the like is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
