Abstract

OF THE INVENTION The present invention provides a method and system for facilitating non-monetary exchange. Particularly, the application provides a method and system for facilitating non-monetary exchange characterized by facilitating exchange of a social credit score of a user and a social debit score of a merchant through a unified platform. The system includes a social credit exchange module adapted for collecting activity data of the user and response data, and determining the social credit score of the user based thereupon, a social debit exchange module adapted for allowing the merchant to generate the social debit score, a rule and policy management module adapted for allowing the merchant to set rules for permitted redemption of the social credit score, and a redemption management module adapted for facilitating redemption of the social credit score with goods and/ or services and the social debit score with the user to advertise.
