Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a rate of animal cell regeneration and an apparatus for controlling the regeneration rate, where the regeneration rate can be controlled by altering an animal cell metabolism by utilizing the fluctuation of tidal power that can be easily grasped.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for controlling a rate of animal cell regeneration. The method controls the rate of animal cell regeneration by grasping a tidal power (e.g., relative gravity acceleration, etc. as an index), and providing the animal cells with physical or chemical stimulation according to variations in tidal power. The present invention also provides an apparatus for controlling the regeneration rate, the apparatus comprising: tidal power-grasping means for grasping a tidal power and stimulation-controlling means for controlling a physical or chemical stimulus to be applied on animal cells according to variations in tidal power.SELECTED DRAWING: None
