A Botulinum neurotoxin is administered to the urinary tract of a patient for treating an urge type dysfunction. Administration may be to the bladder of the patient, for example the lateral bladder wall of the bladder. The botulinum neurotoxin may be botulinum toxin type A, and may be formulated for administration by injection.
